The Proxima Kósmos anthology is in discussion with MIT Press. Forbes, the New York Times, MIT Technology Review.

Nothing here was commissioned by a broadcaster or an outreach budget. Each showing came out of the work itself: a world gets built, and the built world turns out to be something people will queue for.

The anthology gathers the eight, their essays and their fiction into one volume, and it is the form in which the project outlives any particular room it has been shown in.

That is the record of a project that works. It is also the record of a project that has outgrown the arrangement that made it possible.

An incubated project either finds a permanent institution or dissolves back into the calendars of the people who love it.

Incubation is a generosity with an end date built into it. Ours arrives with the close of the Berggruen program, and the work does not stop being work when the address does.
